Terms of Service

Seller Studio is a web application that provides tools for preparing product listings and submitting them to Jumia. These Terms of Service apply to your use of the application, including the website and any related services.

By registering an account or using Seller Studio, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Where an individual uses Seller Studio on behalf of a business or organization, they represent that they have the authority to bind that entity to these terms.

You may create an account if you are a person or entity with the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at chibuzorauthur@gmail.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

Seller Studio supports team workspaces. A shop owner can invite staff members and assign roles that control what those members can do within the workspace. Each member is bound by these terms and the owner remains responsible for activity carried out by members they have added.

Seller Studio provides tools for organizing product information, calculating selling prices, preparing listing content with AI assistance, managing product images, and submitting completed listings to Jumia through the Jumia Vendor Center integration.

The features available to you depend on the subscription plan you have selected and the current state of the application. Not all features are available on all plans.

Jumia is a separate platform and operates independently. Jumia independently controls its own product policies, listing requirements, review processes, approval decisions, publication timelines, product rankings, and any commercial results. Seller Studio submits listings on your behalf when instructed but cannot influence, guarantee, or predict Jumia's decisions. A successful submission through Seller Studio does not guarantee that Jumia will accept, publish, or list the product for sale.

You are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of all product information, pricing inputs, images, specifications, and other content you provide. You must ensure you have the necessary rights to use any content you upload.

You must comply with applicable laws, Jumia's seller policies and listing requirements, intellectual property rights, and any product or category restrictions that apply to what you sell.

You must not use Seller Studio to attempt unauthorized access to any system, abuse integrations, bypass billing or access controls, submit harmful or misleading content, infringe the rights of others, or engage in any activity that is unlawful or contrary to these terms.

Seller Studio offers subscription plans on monthly and annual billing cycles. Plan details, pricing, and credit allocations are set in the application and may be updated from time to time. Current pricing is shown in the application.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel your subscription from the Billing section of your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period and does not entitle you to a refund for the remaining time.

Payments are processed through Paystack. By subscribing, you authorize the charge to the payment method you provide. You are responsible for ensuring your payment details are current and that sufficient funds are available.

Certain features in Seller Studio consume credits. Credits are the unit used to measure usage of metered features such as AI-powered listing generation, research tools, and image processing.

Each subscription plan includes a monthly credit allocation. When the period resets, your monthly allocation is refreshed. Credits can also be purchased as top-up packs through the Billing section. Top-up credits are not refundable and do not expire while your account remains active.

If your available credit balance reaches zero, metered features will be unavailable until your allocation resets or you purchase additional credits. Purchasing a top-up pack and subscribing to a plan are separate transactions.

We may improve, modify, add, or remove features at any time. We aim to provide reasonable notice of significant changes where practical, but we do not guarantee that any specific feature will remain available.

We do not promise uninterrupted access to the service. There may be periods of planned or unplanned downtime. We do not offer a service-level agreement unless one is explicitly agreed in writing.

Seller Studio integrates with Jumia's Vendor Center for product submission, Paystack for payment processing, and external AI providers for listing assistance features. Each of these providers operates under its own terms, policies, and availability.

Seller Studio is not officially endorsed by Jumia. The Jumia integration uses Jumia's published API and is subject to any changes Jumia makes to that API or its seller policies.

Seller Studio's software, interface, branding, and related materials are owned by the service operator or its licensors. Using the service does not give you ownership of or a license to any of these materials beyond the right to use the service as described in these terms.

You retain ownership of the product information, images, and other content you provide. By submitting content to Seller Studio, you grant the service permission to store, process, and use that content as necessary to provide the features you request, such as generating listing text or submitting products to Jumia.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, if your account is involved in fraudulent or harmful activity, if required by applicable law, or for other legitimate operational reasons.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Closing your account cancels any active subscription from the next renewal date and ends your access to the service.

Seller Studio is provided on an as-is basis. We make no warranties about the accuracy of AI-generated content, the availability of the service, or the outcome of submissions to Jumia. AI-generated listing text is a starting point; you are responsible for reviewing it before use.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users in advance through the application.
